ElDiabloCorneo is back!! A lot has happened in the 3 months or so since I last blogged. Just tarak mood lah guys. After Deepavali I went through a slightly depressed phase due to some reasons which you guys will never find out. Today though, I'm at a point in my life where I feel as happy as I ever have for a damn long time! Everyday when I wake up, I can hear "Flashdance, What A Feeling" playing in my head. The sun is like a giant shiny disco ball, the birds sing as though Mozart himself will shoot them if they miss a note and I break out into delirious near-orgasmic delight at the thought that I can finally afford my own alcohol!

Well, actually I just snooze my alarm for half an hour and curse the world for having to be in the office at by 8 fucking a.m. everyday.

Fact is, I've been waiting for this all my life. I'm finally at the point when I am my own person, I have my own freedom, I don't have to ask for permission or answer to people for anything I do. It just feels so bloody damn good to be working. Screw all of you who say "Oh, trust me, you'll be missing college life once you start working". You have obviously never set foot into the morgue of a college called APIIT - where 75% of the student population are guys and 75% of the girls are nerds. GOOD RIDDANCE!!! Where you have to wear slacks and shirts every fucking day. Where you have to travel halfway around the world to reach the bloody campus. In fact I think they just discovered an indigeneous canniballistic tribe living behind the campus.

Since Deepavali, I've been slacking and looking for jobs. I applied to so many places but never received a single reply. Then I got offered a part-time job at Air Asia which seemed a good deal. At least I could earn some money while hunting for a full-time job.

On my 4th day of work, I got called for an interview.

On the morning of my 5th day of work, I went for the interview.

During lunch break on my 5th day of work, I got offered the job.

In the evening of my 5th day of work, Intel calls me for an on the spot phone interview. INTEL!!

Tuesday the following week, I started work at my new workplace.

The following Saturday, I find myself back in Penang being interviewed at Intel.

I hope to be getting a final call from them sometime next week.

So you see people, the moral of the story is never give up. Even if you're sick of slacking, don't worry - slack some more. When things finally start going for you, it will go all out la!

Actually, assuming the Intel opportunity does go well and eventually turns into an offer, it will put me in a very difficult situation. On one side, I'm very very the happy in KL right now. Life is sweeter than a mamak Milo ais. I like my workplace (we have our own gym!), colleagues are cool, I love the place where I live, I have great friends whom I can have massive fun with during weekends, and there are actually Punjabi girls here! There's even one living right across my apartment unit. I don't want to go back to Penang. Penang is dead!!!! I'll be doomed to an arranged marriage if I end up in Penang!!!

But on the other hand, how can you say "TAK NAK" to a company like Intel.

So therein lies my potential "rock and a hard place" situation.

It's all in God's hands now. *Looks up to the sky/ceiling* Dude, you gotta choose for me. Good job vs involuntary celibacy.

Please choose wisely.
